Travel Program Description:

NBA offers Boys Travel Basketball for grades 3-8.  Travel basketball is the competitive basketball offering in Norwin for boys who wish to play against other advanced teams in a highly competitive environment. Teams are selected based upon skill at our annual evaluations and if we have enough boys to form 2 teams per grade, we will.

Our Travel basketball teams participate in competitive leagues within Westmoreland County and the Metro Pittsburgh area and in tournaments throughout the region.  In addition, we host our own tournament in January. The travel basketball season starts in November and runs through March.

Each grade will have two tryout dates at the end of September and the beginning of October. The player trying out must attend a minimum of 1 session. But we encourage each player to attend both sessions so our evaluators can get an accurate account of their skills.
